Intrepid USA Healthcare Services, a leading provider of in-home healthcare, hospice services, and personal aides, announced it has appointed John M. Kunysz, Jr., MBA, CPA, FACHE, as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 30, 2018.
As CEO, Mr. Kunysz will be responsible for leading Intrepid’s ongoing growth initiatives. Mr. Kunysz, a visionary executive, has over 30 years of diverse experience in healthcare services and technology high growth companies.
Prior to leading Intrepid USA, he served as Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of PatientARTx, LLC, a premier provider of Patient FinTech and concierge services for hospitals and physicians, giving them on-demand patient financial treatment surpassing their clinical care. He was previously the Co-Founder, President, and CEO for IntelliHARTX, LLC in Kingsport, TN., a leading company in healthcare revenue cycle focusing exclusively on patient balances and improved patient experience. Mr. Kunysz was also President and CEO of IntelliTX Inc., which lead the successful technology development and commercialization efforts for Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s CPOE Software with McKesson as part of its Expert Orders™ software. His background includes multiple private equity-backed companies and previous experience with both PwC and KPMG.

In addition to his organizational leadership, Mr. Kunysz is a Board Certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a Certified Public Accountant. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting and Marketing from San Diego State University.
