What is the CMS Rating Scale?
To understand how outstanding these ratings are, it helps to understand the rating system. To calculate the star ratings, the rating organization compares survey data from various health centers across the U.S. The ratings are compiled by evaluating rankings in four key areas of patient experience in the home health environment including communication, education and frequency of care.
The rating agency also looks at patient experience to rate a health care provider. These patient experience star ratings are based on the quality of care patients report. Agencies with very high star ratings typically have outstanding standards of care, and high levels of patient satisfaction.
As you can see from the rating scale above, our ratings are all 4.0 out of 5 stars, or above. This indicates that the branches rated in this survey are doing exemplary jobs of providing outstanding patient care, personalizing the in-home experience, and catering to the unique needs of every client we serve.
